Yes. Final pricing may differ from the estimate if additional items are added, more labour or trucks are required, access differs from what was originally disclosed, waiting time occurs, specialty equipment is required, or packing, disposal, storage, or additional services are requested. Whenever reasonably possible, we will advise you before additional charges are incurred.
Yes. A deposit is required to reserve your moving date. Deposits generally range from 20% to 50% of the estimated move cost, depending on the size of the move, distance, season, scheduling requirements, and services requested. Your booking is confirmed once your deposit has been received.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of your move, and progress payments may be required for larger or multi-day moves. We accept credit cards, debit cards, e-transfer, certified cheques, and cash.

Yes. We offer full packing, partial packing, unpacking, furniture wrapping, and packing supplies to help protect your belongings during transit. You're also welcome to pack your own belongings; however, you're responsible for ensuring your items are packed safely and securely, and Moving Champs Canada is not responsible for damage resulting from improper customer packing.
Our movers use professional moving equipment and proven handling techniques to help protect your belongings throughout the moving process, regularly using moving blankets, shrink wrap, mattress bags, floor protection, furniture dollies, lifting straps, and other professional moving equipment. Our trucks are regularly maintained to help ensure safe transportation.
Yes. We regularly move pianos, gun safes, commercial safes, pool tables, hot tubs, fitness equipment, machinery, appliances, and oversized furniture. Additional charges may apply depending on weight, access conditions, equipment required, and labour involved.
For safety and legal reasons, we do not transport gasoline, diesel fuel, propane tanks, BBQ propane cylinders, paint, paint thinner, stains and varnishes, chemicals, hazardous materials, fireworks, explosives, compressed gas cylinders, oxygen or acetylene tanks, corrosive or flammable liquids, illegal drugs or controlled substances, perishable food (unless previously agreed), or live animals or pets. If you're unsure whether an item can be transported, please contact us before moving day.
Yes. We strongly recommend personally transporting cash, jewellery, watches, passports, prescription medications, firearms, important documents, laptops, hard drives, family heirlooms, collectibles, and other sentimental or irreplaceable items.
Yes. An adult (18 years or older) should be present at both pickup and delivery unless other arrangements have been approved.
Yes, basic furniture disassembly and reassembly can be provided where required, though some specialty furniture may need additional labour. Customers are responsible for arranging elevator reservations, loading dock access, parking permits, and any approvals required by their building or property manager before moving day.
Yes. Our crews operate year-round; however, severe weather or unsafe road conditions may require scheduling adjustments for safety reasons.
Yes. Moving Champs Canada carries commercial insurance and exercises reasonable care while handling your belongings. Our liability for loss or damage is governed by the valuation coverage selected by the customer and applicable law, and customers with high-value or irreplaceable belongings are encouraged to obtain additional insurance coverage through their own insurance provider if desired.
Customers should inspect their belongings before the moving crew leaves, and any visible damage or missing items should be reported immediately. Written claims must be submitted within 5 working days after completion of the move. Moving Champs Canada or the carrier performing the move reserves the right to inspect, repair, replace, or otherwise resolve any valid claim before compensation is considered.
Moving Champs Canada works with a network of qualified moving companies, carriers, and owner-operators throughout Canada, and where operationally necessary, all or part of your move may be performed by an approved third-party carrier. When this occurs, that carrier is responsible for the transportation of your goods and for maintaining the insurance, licensing, and liability coverage applicable to its services, and any claims will be handled in accordance with that carrier's valuation coverage, insurance policy, and claims procedures. Moving Champs Canada carefully selects its partners to meet our operational standards.
Yes. We can arrange short-term and long-term storage solutions, subject to availability.
Yes, we understand that plans can change. Deposits may be partially or fully non-refundable depending on the amount of notice provided and the cancellation terms included with your booking, and rescheduling requests are subject to availability and may be subject to additional charges.
